Ascott Indonesia successfully hosted its exclusive annual event, "Deal with Ascott 2024," at the Vertu Ballroom in Vertu Harmoni Jakarta on April 26, 2024. The event served as a valuable platform for Ascott Indonesia to connect with potential buyers, including representatives from top corporations, agencies, Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs), and Wedding Organizers (WOs). Attendees participated in engaging business sessions, where they had the opportunity to interact directly with the 11 Brands of Ascott Indonesia with more than 60 participating properties of hotels and serviced residences. This year's event was even more special where the Ascott Southeast Asia property representatives also joined the event and interacted with our potential buyers. These sessions facilitated discussions on business opportunities and the development of tailored solutions to meet clients' specific meeting and event needs.

This was followed by an insightful Industry Talk Show titled "The Future of MICE in Indonesia after IKN" (IKN refers to Indonesia's new capital city). The Talk Show session featured prominent speakers, including Mr. Haryadi Sukamdani, Chairman of PHRI (Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association), Mr. Hari Wibowo, S.Sos, MAP, Head of Data, Information and Destination Development, Tourism and Creative Economy DKI Jakarta Office, and Mrs. Fenny Maria, Director of Sales & Distributions, Ascott Indonesia. This panel discussion provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the MICE industry in light of the country's development plans and the audience responded with great enthusiasm.
Guests were treated to a delectable culinary experience, indulging in Thematic Culinary Delights exclusively crafted by Vertu Harmoni Jakarta's Food and Beverage team. The event concluded on a high note with a meaningful MOU signing ceremony between The Ascott Limited Indonesia and Hastana Indonesia (Indonesia Association of Event Management Companies), symbolizing a new chapter in their collaborative journey. This signing ceremony signifies hope for a stronger and more mutually beneficial relationship between Ascott Indonesia and Hastana Indonesia.
