EPHEMERAL brings together the work of kaleidescopio.studio showcasing raw terracotta busts and ornamental crowns and headpieces. All created from familiar and natural materials often found in Balinese rituals and ceremony. The pieces are reflective, serene and meditative while being decorative and visually beautiful.
Kaleidoscopio.studio has an ongoing exploration of visual anthropology and aesthetic arts. They emphasize the artisanal work of local artists, a continual source of inspiration. The concept of ephemerality has been the cornerstone for the studio, interpreting visual elements of Balinese culture with materials such as organic leaves, bamboo, rattan and handmade paper, as fragile as the concept itself. Leveraging artisanal techniques and the use of sculpture, photography, print and window dressing design features.
Guests can enjoy the art and installations adorning the interiors of the John Hardy Gallery, Seminyak.

In conjunction with the exhibition the gallery will host a free cyanotype workshop as well as social events, bringing together the community to celebrate art and Indonesian culture.
