Pramana Experience proudly presented their new brand program “Rasayatra.” Rasayatra, derived from the Sanskrit language, meaning 'celebration of taste,' is a brand program that embodies Pramana Experience's commitment to continuously learning and experiencing knowledge, particularly in the realm of culinary.
The inaugural Rasayatra draws inspiration from the Lontar Dharma Caruban as the foundation for culinary adoption. This ancient Balinese manuscript provides detailed guidance on paebatan (the traditional Balinese culinary practices), delving deep into food processing techniques, spices, sajen (offerings), mantras, comprehensive significance, and function of food. In our first Rasayatra, Ida Bagus Alit Sugiarta (Chef Alit) and I Komang Noviawan (Chef Zoviet) will transform an ancient Balinese manuscript into an artistry of culinary craftsmanship.
The launching ceremony will be held on 8th May 2024 at The Hava Ubud by Pramana Experience. Opened by the reading of Lontar Dharma Caruban by Ida Bagus Made Gunawan (Mpu Tantular descendants who are known as an active actor in advancing Balinese culture through their museum namely Samsara Living Museum) continue with a talk show highlighted on lontar and culinary perspective, and dinner.
